West Estate Lviv

A boutique partner for living, investing and doing business in Ukraine.

From your first visa to your first rental, property purchase or company setup, our English-speaking team coordinates the search, paperwork and complete process from Lviv.

What we do

Three connected practices, coordinated in Lviv.

Our core work covers residence, property and business. We also coordinate accounting, legal, relocation and strategic support when the scope requires it.

Why West Estate

Boutique by design — accountable by default.

A foreign client deserves a single accountable partner, not a chain of intermediaries. We keep our roster small so we can hold every commitment we make.

About the team and how we work

English-first

Lviv-based

Our Lviv team knows the local market and can join you for property viewings, notary appointments and meetings with authorities.

End-to-end

Residency, real estate and business support from one team accountable for your case.

Ready to talk?

One conversation is usually enough to know if we are the right fit.

Start with a free 15–30 minute introductory call. We listen, clarify your goal and identify the right next step. Detailed advice and document review are handled in a separate paid 60-minute consultation.

FAQ

Common questions about living and working in Ukraine.

  • Do I need to speak Ukrainian to live in Lviv?

No — you can navigate professional and administrative life with English, especially with us as your interface. Learning Ukrainian is rewarding and we connect clients to schools when they want it.

  • What is the difference between TRP and PRP?

A TRP is issued for a specific legal ground and its validity depends on that ground. PRP also requires a qualifying ground at the application stage. Once granted, permanent residence is generally not tied to continuing that initial ground; the card itself is issued for 10 years and can be exchanged.

  • Can I move my immigration case mid-way to West Estate?

Yes. We frequently take over partially advanced cases. We start with a privileged review of where things stand and where the risks are.

  • Do you charge fees to tenants?

Yes. For residential rentals, our standard tenant-side fee is one month’s rent, payable when the lease is signed. Commercial rental fees are usually 50–100% of one month’s rent, but the final arrangement can vary by property, location and whether the owner contributes to the commission.

  • What are your fees for buying or selling residential property?

Our standard buyer-side fee is 5% of the purchase price and may be reduced to 3% when we source the property directly from an owner in our internal database. Our standard seller-side fee is usually 3%, with the final terms agreed for the property and sale strategy.

  • Is now a sensible time to buy in Ukraine?

It depends on your horizon. We share a candid view in our discovery call, including the risks. We will not push a transaction that does not fit your thesis.
